INCENTIVE/FIT:

Roxas started asking a lot of questions after finding out a few things about Xion's existence, and his own by extension- that Xion was created as part of the Replica Program. She was created by Organization XIII as a sort of copy of Roxas so that she could harness the powers of the keyblade through Roxas. Xion was to remain a puppet under the Organization's control so that they would not need Roxas and his own keyblade powers to gather hearts (as the keyblade is the only weapon that is able to gather the hearts that are left after killing a heartless, which sounds redundant but that's kingdom hearts for you) in order to open Kingdom Hearts. Having the puppet would be easier to control that Roxas, who, as a Nobody, has a mind of his own even if he doesn't necessarily have a heart.

After learning all this about Xion, and that someone named Sora is what connects Xion and Roxas together, even though he doesn't even know a Sora, Roxas' question on the subject of his own existence begin to trouble him a lot. Is he a puppet? He's always told that he's special, but why? Is he a Replica too? Where did he come from? Why is he so special? Who is Sora? Who is Roxas, really? After confronting Axel, who he knows has been hiding information about Xion from him so what else could he be hiding, with all of his questions, he doesn't get any of the answers he was looking for. Axel won't give him the answers he's looking for, and Roxas, fed up with the secrets and lies, makes the decision to leave, to seek out the answers himself.

Somebody knows where I came from. If I can't get answers here, I'll get them somewhere else. That'll be the person... I trust.

If someone were to come up to Roxas, and tell him that if you do us a favour, we'll do you a favour he would be incredibly likely to agree to nearly anything. Using the answers he is seeking as an Incentive, and since he has already decided to abandon his job, friends, coworkers, and (really) his life, being swept into another city to help the people there with the issues they're having is something Roxas would easily agree to. The intimacy that is required for that help would be appealing to him as well, as living with the Organization, and only having the two friends (one of whom for all intents and purposes betrayed him, and the other, for what he knew of the situation, walked away without looking back). He's lonely.

As for any sexual hangups- well, he's a virgin. He's a 16 year old Nobody (who will be aged up to 18 in the game) that has only actually been separated from his Somebody for 355 days by the time he gets asked to join the city. So the actual sexytimes is something that he'll probably have to work up to, but the idea of emotional intimacy is something that definitely appeals to him, though he won't outright admit it.

He never heard the words that Axel uttered as he walked away, leaving the Organization behind. He was done with them, and all of their secrets. If he wanted answers, he knew that the only way he was going to get them was to find them on his own.

Who was Sora? What was his connection to Xion and himself? Where was Xion? Why did she leave?

Who am I?

The questions circled his mind, twisting into a snarling mass that shouted throughout his head, as if by getting louder the answers would come. While shaking his head Roxas threw out a hand, opening a doorway a few feet in front of him, and stepped through it with closed eyes.

The sudden light as he stepped out onto the other side caused him to flinch, eyes squeezing for a moment before he blinked them open slowly. He felt the swoosh of air behind him as the doorway closed and he took another few steps forward, eyes sweeping over the red bricked buildings and sunlight tinted walkways around him. Twilight Town. Of course. The one place he always came to for an escape, to get away from work, and everyone else that existed in the Castle. Memories flitted through his mind as he looked up at the top of the Clock Tower before him, of red and green and black and sea-salt flavours.

He gave himself one more moment to sit in those memories. The only things he had of this life, the one thing he never wanted to lose, the one thing he never wanted to give up. One more moment before locking them away with clenched fists. Those memories were of people he didn't know, not really.

"Excuse me- sir? May I ask you a question?" A voice spoke to his right, and Roxas turned quickly, coat moving around his legs, clenched fists coming up as his body moves into a fighting stance in a knee jerk reaction. He stopped short upon seeing the owner of the voice. A man, dressed formally, even though he seemed rather- plain, in a way Roxas couldn't exactly put his finger on.

"Huh?" Eloquent, as always, Roxas. The thought fell through his mind, sounding not unlike a certain redhead he knew, once. A frown creases Roxas forehead, and he clears his throat "Sorry. Uhm- What do you want?"

"Well, I was just wondering, if there was something you wanted, the most in the world, what would it be?" It was asked simply, flatly, with no lead up, no introduction. The hair on the back of Roxas's neck stood on end, and he paused.

"-Why?"

"I'm looking for help, you see. And I was hoping that you would be able to provide some." The man smiled, head tilting forward a slight bit. The movement was small, but it seemed to ease more of the tension Roxas was carrying, his body uncurled from the hunched stance, standing tall again as the frown he carried turning into a look of curiosity. "I won't hide anything from you, I want you to know that upfront. You will be given all the information you need to make a fully informed decision. And you will be repaid with whatever you desire in exchange for your services."

Whatever you desire. He couldn't pinpoint exactly why, but he knew that the man in front of him was telling the truth, though after all that he had just been through, Roxas wasn't exactly going to jump headfirst into agreeing. What was the harm in hearing the pitch, though.

"I'm listening."

ANYTHING ELSE?

ABILITIES;

Dual Keyblade Wielder Roxas is able to wield a Keyblade! A magical bladed key that is used to mostly as a blade, but also as a key, as the name would suggest. It has the ability to unlock and lock different worlds (from travellers that exists outside of said world) as well as unlocking chests, and other doors. Roxas, however, is one of the lucky individuals who has the ability to wield two keyblades at once, rather than just a single blade. By extensions he's quite the skilled swordsman

Special Attacks He can use light in battle- using pillars of light (13 in fact, haha go figure) to create a mist while throwing blue spheres of power at his opponents. Another special attack is the Duel Bout which is a quick dash and slash attack.

Doorway to Darkness Roxas, as a Nobody in the Organization, has the ability to create portals that will take him from one place to the next, generally they were used for transport between the Organization and other worlds. They literally look like Doorways to Darkness.


As far as limitations for his abilites, unless the mods had specifics on how dialed down his abilities should be, there will just be power caps on special attacks so he doesn't go around destroying things in the unlikely event he'll get into a fight. I'd like the keep his dual keyblades and swordsmanship since I will be taking him from a canon point in which he still has his Organization memories. Lastly- for the Doorways, they would be limited to within city limits if he's allowed to keep them. If you would prefer different limitations, just let me know!
